How to Select the Right Brush

Bristle Material

• Natural - Soft, resilient and long lasting. Hog bristles are stiffer than horsehair. Natural fibers are static neutral when dry, ESD-safe when wet.
• Metal - For burnishing, polishing, non-sparking static dissipation and deburring. Brass is a softer bristle than stainless steel. Metal bristles are conductive.
• Static Dissipative Material - Prevents static build-up on brush. Ideal for dry brushing.

Handle Material

• Wood - Inexpensive and static neutral.
• Steel - For static sensitive applications.
• Delrin - Insulative plastic.

Brush Shape and Size

• Choose the correct size and shape brush for the surface.
